In a city divided by an ancient feud, Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet meet and fall passionately in love. Defying their families, they risk everything for a future together - but violence, secrecy and a devastating series of choices propel them toward tragedy.
Spinning Tree Theatre presents Shakespeare’s timeless story in an intimate adaptation by Doug Weaver, performed by an intergenerational ensemble of artists of all abilities. Direct, intimate and emotionally clear, this Romeo & Juliet brings audiences close to the young people at the center of the tragedy.
